Nature International Slop Disposal is the executive body, waste collector and logistic service provider on behalf of the Foundation Waste & Vaardocumenten Barge.
The SAB was established in 1993 with the main task of operating and maintaining a national network of waste reception facilities for inland navigation. The important Dutch waterways and hubs are geographically divided in various regions for a safe and convenient disposal of oil and grease-containing waste materials, such as bilge water, waste oil, oil filters, and cleaning rags.
The SAB maintains the collection data of the individual vessels to maintain an efficient functioning network and pro-actively monitoring of the on board generated waste streams. Prevention of unnecessary waste and information about environmental impacts are also important tasks of the SAB.
Furthermore; the SAB provides a wide variety of documents. It includes monitoring and provider of a variety of sailing documents such as service booklets, sailing time registrations, passage time statements and oil record books for inland barges. For more information; https://sabni.nl/
